One of the many reasons we love Martha's Vineyard is that each town has its own unique flavor. Edgartown is no exception. For me, personally, it will always be my first and last love. It was the town in which my parents bought their first summer home, and where they lived for almost twenty years. The harbor is filled with Boston Whaler's, streets are filled with Lily Pulitzer dresses, Jack Rodgers sandals, and charming cafe's such as, Among the Flowers Cafe. The owners Patrick and Polly Toomey have created a sweet, delicious spot to have a wonderful meal, all while watching the world go by. It's by far one of our most Chappy Happy dining spots! You will also find the Edgartown Lighthouse, a beautiful spot to snap a photo with your family. Don't forget to pass by the Quarterdeck, grab some fried clams, and sit by the water. It's so much fun in the summer to watch all the people go in and out of the harbor! There is also Murdick's Fudge, and Mad Martha's for those of you with a sweet tooth! Before you head out of this town with so much more to do we can't possibly fit it all into this blog, you MUST go to South Beach out by Katama. Great waves, and a beautiful beach! It's truly one of our most Chappy Happy places on the island! What are your favorite things to do in Edgartown?
